Our Story
The Dallas VA Research Corporation (DVARC) has been serving Veterans since 1990. Established by Congress, DVARC ensures that the Dallas VA Hospital is able to participate in a wide range of critically important research studies. DVARCs staff have served thousands of our nation's heroes by providing access to cutting-edge research and life-changing treatments. We are honored to serve those who have sacrificed to serve us.

The mission of the Dallas VA Research Corporation is to support scientific research, education and rehabilitation to improve the lives of Veterans and their families.

To be recognized as the North Texas leader in research and education critical to the men and women who gave military service.
Our Accomplishments
For more than 90 years, the Veterans Affairs (VA) Research and Development program has been improving the lives of Veterans and all American through health care discovery and innovation. VA Research is unique because of its focus on health issues that affect Veterans. It is part of an integrated health care system with a state-of-the-art electronic health record and has come to be viewed as a model for superior bench-to-bedside research.
